About us

Deep-time Digital Earth (DDE) Geomorphology Working Group, led by Nanjing Normal University, is a multidisciplinary collective dedicated to advancing our understanding of Earth's surface processes and landform dynamics through data-driven exploration and collaboration.

Comprised of geomorphologists, earth scientists, data analysts, and remote sensing specialists, our group employs cutting-edge methods, from high-resolution satellite imagery analysis to machine learning, to investigate the formation, evolution, and stability of landscapes across the globe.

By integrating diverse research approaches and fostering open dialogue, we aim to produce comprehensive insights that support environmental decision-making, inform sustainable land management, and inspire innovative research pathways. Ultimately, our mission is to illuminate the intricate interplay of natural forces shaping the Earth's surface, providing a stronger foundation for anticipating and responding to both present and future geomorphological challenges.
